A couple of years ago Travis Barker dropped his debut solo album and for those of you who missed it, it was a veritable who’s-who of guest appearances. From Lupe Fiasco and Pharell Williams to Slash and Steve Aoki, Travis managed to get someone from just about every genre of music on there. Because he doesn’t do any singing, Travis let a lot of rappers have a go on a number of the tracks. This resulted in a number of songs that aren’t really rap-rock but more like rap with an edge. On this one, RZA actually came up with a lot of the guitar part but handed off the guitar duties to Rage Against The Machine’s incredible Tom Morello. Travis keeps it pushing forward with his amazing drumming and RZA and Raekwon are spot on, keeping their flow intertwining with the beat. I know this is a couple of years old at this point but it came on my iPod this morning and I knew I just had to put it out there.
